The Lucky Penny, created by Blake Beckham and Malina Rodriguez, celebrated its 1st birthday last night at the MASS Collective. Yes was birthday cake and a DJ, but they also performed a preview of Threshold, their upcoming piece in August. What is unique is that they are building a life-sized house out of cardboard to perform in. See a lot more photos and info here.
